A dog is without a doubt the best friend anyone can have. However, countless stories of sick dogs abound on the internet, as do happy endings when they finally find good people who shower them with love and tenderness.
Coco is a charming little dog who was not to blame for falling into the hands of unfeeling humans who, despite his nobility, did not know how to value him. What was about to happen never occurred to him.
The dog was in terrible condition among the waste on the banks of a river for unknown reasons and without justification. Every bone on his body could be counted without exaggeration.
Coco’s body was extremely thin, indicating that she hadn’t eaten in a long time. Hunger and thirst overtook him, but the weakness he felt prevented him from moving to find something to eat. He was infested with parasites all over his body.
Fortunately, the people who rescued him provided him with food and water right away.
When they took him to the DELKA Veterinary Hospital in Nuevo León, Mexico, the team that treated him couldn’t help but be surprised because, despite being used to seeing similar situations, Coco’s case was very unhappy and sad for the puppy’s life, as he was an extremely malnourished dog.
“How can there be people like that, capable of causing so much harm to such a small animal?” wondered a bored internet user.
Hospital personnel confirmed the dog’s malnutrition and administered severe and rigorous treatment. The pet was grateful and made every effort and enthusiasm to progress.
Words were unnecessary to express himself; his gestures spoke volumes about how he felt when he saw himself as loved and protected as never before.
Only a month had passed and the difference was already noticeable. He weighed 23 kilograms and appeared to be in happy health.
The alarms went off again, just when they thought everything was fine.
The puppy became ill, refused to eat, and developed high temperatures when they least expected it. They examined him and discovered he had coccidioidomycosis, a serious fungal infection.
“He is a brave dog with a big heart; he will get ahead because he deserves it!” an understanding user exclaimed.
But this time he was not alone; the people who took after him were always there for him. Coco, on the other hand, remained brave and eager to recover. He’d overcome a lot of adversity in his life, and this would be no different.
Every day that passed was an accomplishment for him. She clung to the life and love she had been given. The puppy was able to overcome from the illness after two long months.
His happy barks demonstrate how content he is with his dog brothers, with whom he plays and has fun.
Coco was eventually adopted by her rescuers, who are always attentive to her needs. He has an older human sister who adores him above all else.
Life smiles at him, and he seizes the wonderful opportunity that has been bestowed upon him. To stay in shape, he even joined an athletic group.
